Welcome to the nCino Mortgage API!

We are excited to share with you the newly built nCino Mortgage API.

After many years of working with integration partners, customers and numerous developer partners, nCino has taken the learnings and experience from the SimpleNexus API (SNAPI) and are putting in place a new API framework built from the ground up to be more a robust, forward thinking solution with tools to support our developer community.

The API is currently in pre-release and is expected to launch officially soon. If you are not already part of our beta program, please reach out to our team to learn more.

What's included in the Initial Release?

The nCino Mortgage API will be released over time with expanded functionality. Included in this first release will be:

• nCino Developer Portal - Publicly available documentation with how to guides and extensive API Reference Docs
• Better Authentication and Authorization with support for OAuth 2.0 and Token Expiration
• Versioning Support to provide a stable consistent API Interface to minimize surprises and impacts

• Endpoints for User Management
  • Loan Officers, Team Members, Borrowers, Partners
  • Manage Team Assignments

• Endpoints for Webhooks
  • Programmatically create webhooks and subscribe to events
• New Webhook Flow with Increased Security, delivery retries and support for Filtering Webhook Events for targeted notifications
  • Organizational Events - Creation and Deletion of Resources, Reordering of Milestones
  • User Events - Creation and Enabling/Disabling of Loan Officers & Team Members, Promotion / Demotion to Admin/Loan Officers, Creation & Deletion of Assignments and State Licenses, Partner First Login

What about the SimpleNexus API (SNAPI v1)? Can it be used along side the new nCino Mortgage API?

Absolutely! Sometime in the future, as the nCino Mortgage API matures, the SNAPI will be deprecated with plenty of notice. Until then, feel free to utilize both APIs as needed.

Keep in mind that authentication and authorization are very different between the two versions, as are the payloads. For any new development, for which there exists support in the nCino Mortgage API, it is strongly suggested the new version be used to prevent the need for future migrations.

The SimpleNexus API is our current API platform which has broader support for interacting with the platform. This API will eventually be replaced with the new nCino Mortgage API.
